MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR

It is a device, which generally goes on the engine block, between the air filter and the intake manifold. It consists of three main pieces. The first is the thermistor, which is responsible for measuring the air temperature. Another important piece is the platinum wire, which must be kept at a constant temperature. Finally, there is the Electronic Control Unit, whose function is to monitor the flow of current and send a signal accordingly.
